Morning
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJB) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The Apostle Paul came from an incredibly rough background because as a Pharisee, he was persecuting the Church of God. He was even causing the saints to suffer and throwing them into prison. But eventually he was converted to the Christian faith and washed away all of his sins through holy baptism. Rather than dwelling on the life that he used to live as an unbeliever, he put his past behavior completely behind him, forgetting what he once was, in order to become the person that God wanted him to be.

James 2:5-6 (KJB) Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor……..
What’s the old saying? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. It is always amazed me that the tax cuts and relief that are given to the rich are often times more money than a poor man will ever make in his life. Woe unto people who cater to the rich, and despise their poor neighbors, because God will take them in a moment when they least expect it.
