Morning
Romans 15:30 (KJB) Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
When you strive, it means to put forth a dedicated and strenuous effort towards a specific purpose or a goal, or to devote serious attention to something. When we ask God for specific things in prayer, it must be done in the same manner, very much like a child who repetitively petitions their parents for something, as they walk through an aisle at the grocery store. Regular, ongoing and consistent prayer towards God, reveals our great desire for the things that we ask Him, especially when combined with fasting. When the Apostle Peter was kept in prison, prayer was made without ceasing by the church unto God for Him, and he was delivered, and the Apostle Paul requested them to do the same for him. He asked the church to pray for him, and to remember him in their prayers, so he too could be delivered from the wicked and unreasonable men of this world. Prayer is very powerful when it is done in a committed and ardent manner, continuing to keep up daily communication with the Lord, not only for yourselves, but for others who are of like-minded faith.

Evening
Psalms 35:4-6 (KJB) Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
David prayed for the persecution of those who were doing evil towards him, something that people do everyday in Earthly courtrooms, when they petition a judge for justice. But it is a just and righteous thing to ask the King of kings to punish those who have done wickedly towards us. In one example, the Apostle James speaks of people who were being shorted of their wages, who cried out mightily to God, and He heard them. Although people might be able to avoid justice in an Earthly courtroom, they will never be able to escape the justice of Christ Jesus, because when they cause His servants to suffer, He is going to return the same right back upon their own heads. God in His vengeance will afflict them, persecute them, and cast them into a ditch from which they will not rise back up again. They will be clothed with everlasting shame like as a garment, stained with the sinfulness of their own wicked behavior that they cannot shed. The Lord Jesus shall laugh at their derision, for He seeth that their day is coming, and He shall take them in a moment when they least expect it.
