Psalms 149:4 (KJB) For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
When somebody is filled up with meekness, they are going to be incredibly submissive to those who are an authority over them. They will be filled up with such humility that they will be overly compliant towards biblical directives. Moses was called the meekest of all men, and look at all the things that the Lord did in His life. Meekness leads to faithful obedience to the will of God, and those who possess this quality will find great favor in His sight.

Evening
Titus 2:5 (KJB) To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
One of the worst things that has happened over the last 200 years is the role of women in society. A woman who claims to be a follower of Christ Jesus is to be a keeper at home, tending to the needs of her husband, or even her aging dad. But rather than nurturing a close relationship with her children, and devoting the hours of her day to their emotional stability, many women have gone out into the world to find a job or have even decided to start running their own companies instead. God’s purpose for a woman is to be a helpmeet for men, whether she is married or not. She was created as a care provider who must selflessly and diligently tend to the needs of her husband, and her own children. This is one of the reasons why divorce is such an evil activity and is forbidden in the Christian Life, because many times she has to go out and get a job, and completely forsake the will of God for her life. No matter what sins might be committed in a marriage, the family unit must not be broken, even for the sake of these precious little ones. When a woman goes out into the world rather than keeping her feet placed firmly in the home, she is denying the will of God, abandoning the responsibilities to her husband, and leaving her own children by the wayside.
