Morning
Philippians 2:5-7 (KJB) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Many people in the world seek after fame. Sometimes they will surround themselves with a large entourage of people wearing business suits, or show up in town in a large stretch limousine. But our precious Lord Jesus Christ is creator of Heaven and Earth, and when He showed up in this world, He made himself of no reputation. Fame followed Him everywhere that He went, because of all of the wonderful works that He did, but that isn’t what He was seeking at all. He was reaching out to the souls of men to guide them on the path of repentance, taking upon Himself the form of a servant, and laying down His own life for their salvation.

Evening
John 15:4-7 (KJB) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
To abide means to continue in a specific state, or to accept and submit to someone without objection. The New Testament is filled with commands and teachings from our precious Lord Jesus Christ, and to abide in Him is to submit and to obey His will. Obedience to the will of God is the proof that you are abiding in Him, and God will most certainly reward this behavior. Just like pleasing your own dad by doing the things that he requests, when we obey the will of God, the Heavenly Father is capable of fulfilling your every desire. So be obedient to God, and watch what happens in your life.
