Thoughts of the Day 8/2/26 am

1 Peter 3:5-6 (KJB) For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

The man is the head of the household and must be treated with the same respect and honor as the Lord Jesus Christ. A Christian woman who refuses to do this will lose her own soul, because it is impossible for her to serve Christ by rejecting the leadership of her husband.

2 Peter 2:1-2 (KJB) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Many people are going to follow after heretical teachers, which is one of the main reasons why there is such a massive movement of false Christianity in the world today. Because of this, when somebody finally comes along and tells them the truth of Holy Scripture, they are so far away from Biblical truth that they absolutely refuse to accept it, and speak evil against those who preach it.
