Psalms 34:6 (KJB) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Many people who are wealthy don’t seek after the Lord, because rather than asking for help from Him, they will find comfort in all of their Earthly riches. It is the poor people of this world who are blessed by God, because they will seek after the one who can provide for all of their needs. Poor people place their trust in Christ and will cry mightily unto Him for assistance, and just as the Israelites were delivered out of Egypt, the Lord shall deliver them from all of their troubles.

Thoughts of the Day 8/23/26 pm
Matthew 18:21-22 (KJB) Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
When people are baptized into the faith, they begin a new life in the family of God, but just like a young child, sometimes there can be mistakes that are made along the way. When I was first learning how to water ski, I couldn’t count the number of times that I fell down, until I eventually learned how to do it. The goal of a Christian is to go and sin no more, but if we do make a mistake, we have one who pleads with the Father on our behalf, Jesus Christ the righteous. The Lord is so merciful that He laid down His own life so this entire world could have mercy to eventually become the person that He wants us to be. It doesn’t feel good when somebody sins against us, but when they repent of their sins with a contrite and penitent heart, we must release them from the bondage of their iniquities. This is so they can use that grace to change, and go on unto perfection. Even the Apostle Peter sinned three times repetitively against the Lord Jesus Christ, but he later found a place of forgiveness with Him and was completely restored. But many people cannot find forgiveness because they are too proud to admit their faults to a brother in the church that they have wronged. Reconciliation with them is commanded by Christ, but the wall of pride must first be torn down, so humility can take its place. Sinful living can be very habit forming, but in order to overcome them all, some people will need a lot more grace than others. The Lord wants us to be very merciful, just as he taught the Apostle Peter, covering a multitude of sins, even if it requires seventy times seven.
