Thoughts of the Day 8/24/26

Thoughts of the Day 8/24/26 am

Matthew 19:29 (KJB) And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

To forsake means to leave someone or something behind, and in order to become a loyal and faithful man of God, your heart and mind must be completely focused on Christ Jesus above all others. Men are called to love their wives, their children and even their neighbor as themselves, but those who become a laborer for the Lord have a Heavenly employer that they must report to each and every day. A soldier of Christ has an obligation and a duty to abide at their post, and absolutely nothing can stand in the way of them doing that. If a man of God turns away from his responsibilities to Christ, in order to follow after his parents, relatives and even a mother are guilty of dereliction of duty. In the military if that were to happen, they would be AWOL and would be court martialed and even end up in prison. Can you imagine how an Earthly employer would feel if you didn’t show up at all for work? More than likely he would fire you, and then pick somebody else to fill your position. This is because you were unworthy of the responsibility that was given to you, and then he awarded it to somebody else. In order to receive a hundredfold blessing, nothing, and I mean nothing can get in the way of the Spiritual obligations of a soldier of Christ, because if any other relationships are more important than one’s duties to Jesus, then you weren’t fit for the kingdom of God to begin with.

Thoughts of the Day 8/24/26 pm

Matthew 23:9 (KJB) And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Would you be bold enough to take upon yourself the title that belongs to somebody else? Would you dress up in a robe and sit down in the courtroom and expect everybody to refer to you as judge, when you are really not one at all? Would you want everybody to address you as the king of England, but the truth is you are not the king at all! Would you put on the uniform of a general and expect everybody to salute you and treat you as such? People who do things like these are completely vain, and it’s been going on in Catholicism for thousands of years. They have stolen the honor and the glory that belongs to the Heavenly Father alone, because nobody on this Earth is worthy of that title save one alone. Take a good look at these people, because we are talking about an ego that is out of control and usurps the commands of Christ. Can you imagine people running around the world wanting to be called Jesus? What arrogance! Some people want to be called master, but that is a Divine title that is reserved and set aside for Christ alone. Scripture teaches us that there is only one God the Father, and we are not supposed to use that title for anyone else, including your own dad. Who would be that arrogant and prideful to take the name of the Heavenly Father and have people refer to them as that? Ever since I was baptized into the faith, I have never allowed somebody to refer to me as father, because those who do are stealing a title that belongs to the one true living God. People might be filled with the Holy Spirit, but to rip off the title of the heavenly Father, is theft of the creator’s title, and no man on this Earth can take credit for creating the universe and everything in it. Most people are not going to understand this, and they will continue to be deceived by others, but people who cannot figure this out, I doubt if they will ever understand any of the rest of the teachings of Holy Writ. It’s not hard to tell who is Spiritually blind. The only ones who find it difficult, are the ones who actually are.
