Thoughts of the Day 9/23/26

Thoughts of the Day 9/23/26 am

Psalms 32:10 (KJB) Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Scriptures are clear that God is not mocked, and everybody is going to reap back what they have sown. Obviously whatever type of seed that you planted in your garden is going to be revealed in due time. Those who choose to follow the path of wicked living are going to suffer, whether they claim to be a Christian or not, because God is going to judge everybody according to their works, whether they are good or evil. Those who trust in the Lord will trust Him enough to repent of their sins and humbly submit to His teachings that are found throughout the New Testament faith. Those who yield themselves to them, the mercies of God will encompass their entire life, for blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Thoughts of the Day 9/23/26 pm

Psalms 34:19 (KJB) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

When you were in high school, did you ever have other students try to coax you to do something that you knew was wrong? Maybe they wanted you to help them to steal stuff from other people’s lockers but you refused to get involved. Because of this, they made up all kinds of gossip and lies about you and then spread them around the school. When you live the Christian Life, we are called to walk in the light and do what’s good, but when you make the decision to reject evil, you are going to enter into some type of persecution. Just like Joseph had to suffer in prison because of the wrongs that were committed against him, he was eventually delivered from them all. Suffering for doing what is right is something that you should never be ashamed about, but you can know that when you endure them, there will be a light at the end of a very dark tunnel, and God shall lift you up, and deliver you out of their hands!
